3. Hydrocortisone Butyrate
This steroidal type cream is used to temporarily reduce itching caused by hemorrhoids. Over the counter hydrocortisone includes doses of Cortizone-10 inch removal cream, Preparation H cream Hydrocotisone and TUCKS hydrocortisone creams.
4. Pain removal creams
Some hemorrhoidal creams are designed to numb the pain away. They are considered as local anesthetics and they can be bought over the counter. They primarily numb the nerves and tend to provide relief against pain and discomfort. Some of the examples for pain removers include Amercaine Hemorrhoidal creams, Lanacane, nupercainal, tronolane and Benzocaine creams.
5. Witch Hazel Creams
Witch hazel creams and astringents are designed to shrink your blood vessels and tissues. Like other creams, it promotes drying and it can soothe the itching caused by hemorrhoids. Witch hazel is considered as a natural ingredient which is often found in wipes and pads. There are several creams which are also based on this natural cream. Some examples include Preparation H and medicated creams.
6. Lidocaine Topical cream
This form of medication contains 2 amide type anesthetics, namely prilocaine and lidocaine. It is used for unbroken skin and the outer genital area in order to prevent pain. It can also be used in several other procedures such as inserting needles and skin grafts. It temporarily numbs the skin and the area surrounding the skin or the anus.
7. Japanese Pagoda tree cream
This type of cream has the anti-aging and anti-drying powers of the Pagoda Tree. It primarily addresses aching of the feet but can also be used for unbroken skin in the anal area.
