In terms of internal hemorrhoids, there will be no presence of pain. Instead, patients will be suffering from bright red rectal bleeding during bowel movement. A thick covering of blood will often cover the stool and the stool will usually be normally colored. Other symptoms include mucous discharge in the perianal area and even a prolapsed of the rectum. There will also be presence of itchiness as well as fecal incontinence. The condition will only be painful if it is already thrombosed or severely nectrotic in nature.
