Hemorrhoids, also called piles, are the swelling of the veins in the anal and rectal area due to the pull of gravity of the blood. They usually occur due to many factors such as weight, lifestyle, pregnancy, and the like. However, the good thing is that there is an effective treatment for this condition. The Candle Pose
This pose is also known as the Supported Shoulder Stand. Hemorrhoids and yoga can be connected together by using this pose because it improves the blood circulation and boosts the immune system of the body. The candle pose also stimulates the internal organs of the body, as well as the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Do the candle pose by turning your body upside down. This pose is helpful in improving circulation because there is a reverse force of gravity while being in an inverted position.
The shoulder stand will require you to place your weight mostly on your upper back. That is the reason why you should consider placing two thick blankets and yoga mat in order to support your back while you perform the process. Lie on your back and bring your legs straight upwards. Place and squeeze your hands at your sides and lift your hips from the ground. You can also support your body by placing your hands on your lower back but remember to keep your elbows on the floor. Extend your body for at least six minutes while maintaining your head, neck, and shoulders on the floor. This should be done once a day.
The Fish Pose
Like the candle pose, the Fish pose also decreases swelling and improves the regulation of the thyroid and the parathyroid glands. It also relieves the tension in the shoulders and neck and strengthens the abdominal and pelvic organs. Your weight mostly goes on top of your head. Do this method by lying on your back and putting your arms on your sides. Raise your hips and arch your lower back. Lift your head and extend it for a while. Do this for at least thirty seconds and repeat for three times.
The Supported Headstand Pose
Hemorrhoids and yoga are related using this pose because it can help improve the circulation of the blood and reduce edema. It also plays a role in the regulation of the pituitary and pineal glands. This pose makes use of your forearms in order to maintain balance. Place the mat and blankets on the floor near a wall. Kneel on them and then put your head and forearms on the floor. Put your hands behind your head. You can shift your weight on your head and arms, and then put your legs upward. Be sure that your body is perpendicular to the ground, that is, your legs and vertebrae are in a straight line. At first, you can make use of the wall to support your body, and then you can try the unsupported headstand pose if you already can. Do this method for as long as you could.
